Firewise
The Firewise USA® program is led by the National Fire Protection Association and is focused teaching people how to adapt to living with wildfire. The program also encourages neighbors to work together and take action now to prevent losses.
Here in Higby Estates we have a dedicated Forestry Committee who has worked hard at achieving the statues of Firewise. They demonstrate and educate the community about fire mitigation, forest health and assist the neighborhood in having a wildfire evacuation plan.
